Who We Are

Located in the heart of northeastern Manitoba, Garden Hill Anisininew Nation High School stands as a dedicated partner to the families and youth of the Garden Hill Anisininew Nation community.

Our school supports students during a critical stage of their education, helping them grow academically, culturally, and personally as they prepare for life beyond high school.

We provide secondary education aligned with the Manitoba provincial curriculum, ensuring students earn recognized credits while integrating Ansininew culture, and traditional knowledge into daily learning.

Our approach recognizes the importance of strong academic preparation alongside cultural identity, confidence, and community responsibility.

Garden Hill Anisininew Nation High School is an important part of community life. We work closely with families, Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and community partners to create a supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to set goals, build leadership skills, and see themselves as future contributors to their Nation.

With support from Manitoba First Nations SchoolNet (MFNS) and the Manitoba First Nations Education Resuorce Centre (MFNERC) and others, we offer resources, cultural programs, and technology to strengthen learning.

Located within the Garden Hill community, Garden Hill Anisininew Nation High School serves as both an academic institution and a gathering place for community activities. Our school includes classrooms for core academic subjects, spaces for cultural programming, technology supported learning areas, and facilities for physical education, athletics, and recreation.
